How to delete your account in the app

You can delete your account and associated data at any time:

Open Daily Wordsearch Challenge (app or wordsearch.cc).
Go to the home screen and open Settings (gear icon).
Scroll to Delete account and confirm.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. You can start again afterward with a new anonymous guest profile.

Request by email

If you cannot use the in-app flow, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account (or include your display name / player details). We will delete your account and confirm by email, typically within a few days.

What we delete

Player profile (display name, preferences, linked Apple / Google / Facebook / email credentials)
Puzzle progress, scores, solve times, statistics
Daily streaks, achievements, coins and hints balance
Custom puzzles you created and leaderboard entries tied to your profile
Push notification tokens for your devices

What we may retain

Short-lived server and security logs (separate from your player profile), kept only as needed for security and operations
Anonymous / aggregated analytics that can no longer identify you
Records we must keep where required by law

Facebook-linked accounts

You can also remove the app under Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites. We process Meta’s data-deletion callback and provide a confirmation page when applicable.
